Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM): In 2015, the conference is hosted in the Colonial Williamsburg region.
ALHFAM creates conference sessions, workshops, and hands-on experiences for professionals and amateur museum educators, especially in living history and our rural past.
Lauren Muney of Silhouettes By Hand has been accepted to present her "Heads in History" professional session at this 2015 international conference:
"Heads in History" explores the origins of reading character by facial features (physiognomy) and head shape (phrenology), and their impact on western society, especially in early America.
Lauren is the association co-chairperson for the professional interest group encompassing Programming, Interpretation and Education.
