Every March, heritage museums in the Annapolis, MD (USA) area celebrate the founding of Maryland (March 1634) as Maryland Day. (More Maryland Day events are here.)

Historic Londontown is one of the premier living history sites in capitol region, featuring the archeology and reconstructed buildings of the important town that stood on its ground in the 17th-18th century. This year, The MD Day theme this year will be “#MDSelfie: Picture Yourself in History.” The museum will emphasize portraits as well as create an immersive experience for visitors through costume rentals, hands-on activities in our historic area, photo opportunities.
