Lauren is on the Board of Directors for the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM), an organization of people who bring history to life.

She will be attending and speaking at the 2019 annual conference, held this year in Midland, Ontario, Canada. Lauren is the co-chair of the international initiative, “Skills Training and Preservation”, presenting and supporting on different aspects of this initiative.
